Quilt of the Month for August

This month featured quilt is a beautiful T-shirt quilt lovingly made by Linda, our client/friend.  The great thing about T-shirt quilts is they are so versatile.  You can do soooo many different things designing one.  Here is what she has to say about hers.

My son’s girlfriend asked me to make her a t-shirt quilt.  Never having made one, I went to my local quilt store where I purchased a simple pattern put out by Cut Loose Press.

That’s when the fun began.  Having received all of her band t-shirts, I began looking for musical fabric.  I found just what I was looking for at The Quilt Cupboard, where I purchased both fabric and pattern there.

Thanks to Paul and Julie, J & P Quilters, who did a great job of Quilting it.

This quilt measures 97″ x 97″ and we used Hobbs 80/20 batting.  It was quilted using Debra Geissler‘s Symphony of Music E2E from Designs by Deb using Superior Thread King Tut‘s Cairo variegated thread.
