About 10 years ago, while downsizing and getting ready for a move overseas, I was struggling with getting rid of souvenir t-shirts from some of my previous travels over the years, so I decided to compromise and learn how to make a t-shirt quilt!
I found most of the fabric from JoAnn’s Fabrics and some from Walmart. After having all I needed, I “locked myself inside” a cabin for a week and finished the top side of this quilt but then it remained in storage all this time until I found J & P Quilters to finish it up for me!
The Purple thread and binding as well as the Vine-design represent God’s goodness and grace in my life and experiences around the world that He has blessed me with so far!
Paul and Julie were kind and patient and really wanted to capture the essence of my quilt and they’re pricing is reasonable!
This quilt measures approx 58″ x 95″. Lyn provided her own batting and it was quilted using Debra Geissler‘s Leafy Vine 2 E2E pattern from Designs by Deb with Perma Core Royalty thread.
