This month’s Quilt of the Month features another beautiful quilt. She calls this one her Murder Mystery Quilt.
This quilt was part of a year-long Murder Mystery Quilt subscription from WhipStitch Studios. Every month a new block pattern was released and a new chapter in the corresponding murder mystery book. It was a ton of fun, and I learned so much about proper quilting techniques. It even includes a couple of paper-pieced blocks which was a new challenge for me. It was a challenge picking out fabrics from suggestions, but without knowing how they would work together in the final design, but it was a really fun process.
It’s no Mystery why this quilt is featured as a Quilt of the Month. It is beautiful. It was quilted using Maggie’s Roses by Designs by Deb (Debra Geissler – www.DesignsByDeb.Biz) in PermaCore’s Green thread, and completed with Hobbs 80/20 batting.
We are eagerly looking froward to seeing her next project.
